On 7th December 2022, Cardinal Michael Fitzgerald MAfr received an OBE in recognition of all his work for Interreligious Dialogue. It was presented to him at Windsor Castle by Prince William, the Prince of Wales. Cardinal Michael was accompanied by his cousin, his niece and the Provincial Delegate, Fr. Hugh Seenan MAfr.
